Feeding your family well isn't always easy. Planning and creating healthy meals that everyone likes can be challenging. And it isn't just about what food you are serving...it's also about how you are feeding. Food battles at the dinner table are no fun. Maybe you have turned into a short order cook because you have some picky eaters in the house. Maybe you have a teen who has suddenly decided to become a vegetarian. Or perhaps you are struggling with your own food issues, and you are tired of all of the conflicting information on the internet.

I am a mom. I get it. I have 3 teenage girls, and I have learned a lot on my parenting journey. I understand the challenges of fitting healthy meals into a busy lifestyle. As a registered dietitian with over 15 years of experience, I will work with you to find creative (and evidence-based) solutions to these issues. I love teaching people how important, easy, and delicious nutritious eating can be.

My philosophy is that all foods can fit. I take a non-diet approach and focus more on intuitive eating and building a healthy relationship with food. I love to work with children because this is where that healthy relationship begins! No individual or family is the same. That's why I tailor each nutrition consultation to meet your unique needs. I also specialize in food sensitivities because I was finding many of my clients (and family members) were struggling with symptoms of IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). I offer the Mediated Release Test (MRT) and Lifestyle Eating and Performance (LEAP) program to reduce inflammation and eliminate symptoms of adverse food reactions. I provide creative solutions in the kitchen and knowledge of alternative ingredients to help individuals and families make meal planning fun and easy. My roots are on the east coast...I grew up in Va. Beach, Virginia, and I adore the ocean.
I live with my family in San Anselmo, CA. I am now very attached to the west coast.
In my free time I like running and hiking on the beautiful Marin County trails.
I graduated from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA (Go Hoos!)
I received my masters degree in public health and nutrition at UNC Chapel Hill (Go Heels!)
The biggest surprise I have ever been given was the news that I was having twins.
I traveled through Central and South America for a year with my family in 2014 (and loved every minute!)
